Account Manager

Sales & Marketing St-Laurent, QC Full-time Reports to Sales Director

About the Role

As an Account Manager at ATEK, you will be the primary relationship owner for our B2B clients in the life sciences and regulated industries. You will drive revenue growth by managing existing accounts, identifying upsell opportunities, and ensuring client satisfaction with our environmental monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B accounts in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare sectors
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at client organizations
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue and client retention
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for ATEK monitoring solutions and services
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure successful deployments and client onboarding
  • Track and report on pipeline, forecasts, and account health metrics using HubSpot CRM
  • Represent ATEK at industry trade shows, conferences, and client-facing events
  • Gather client feedback and relay product improvement insights to the product team

Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B account management or sales experience, preferably in SaaS, IoT, or regulated industries
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English (French is a strong asset)
  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical product value propositions
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Canada (up to 25%)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or environmental monitoring industry
  • Bilingual (English/French)
  • Knowledge of GxP compliance, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, or Health Canada regulations
  • Experience with IoT or sensor-based technology solutions
