Communications Marketing: Communications marketing, often just referred to as marketing communications or marcom, is broader and supports the overall brand and corporate messaging. It includes:

  • Corporate branding and messaging that communicate the values and mission of the entire organization, not tied to any specific product.
  • Public relations and media outreach to build and maintain the company’s image in the public eye.
  • Internal communications that ensure messages within the company are consistent and align with external messages.
  • Creating and managing content that may include blogs, social media posts, newsletters, and corporate announcements that are not specific to any one product.
  • Handling communications channels like the company’s website, social media accounts, and press releases.
  • Event management and sponsorship, managing the presence and presentation of the company in various events, trade shows, and public functions.
